It is very hard to keep a blog, I found. I might be over thinking this, and restricting myself to only post something “interesting.”

I have gotten really into WeChat these days, it is popular in Asia, and I have been using it to communicate with my cousins in China and my parents in Los Angeles.  Using WeChat has been helping me to practice my Chinese, I am actually learn/relearning many characters.  It has been fun; my parents get updates on my whereabouts and daily activities, it makes them feel more involved in my life.  I looked for a WeChat plugin for WordPress; there are a few, but they are all in infant development phase.  And do I really want to link my chi-chats with my family on WeChat to my (semi) professional website? I posted a photo to show my parents the laundry mat I go to in NYC, most people aren’t going to find that very interesting.
