Dogs have dog years, I think architects have architect years.

It is a simple formula: (1/2)*(numbers of year in undergraduate study–that is only if you had a 4 or 5 years degree in architecture) + (number of years working in the field) + (if it applies–number of years in graduate study).

So mine would be: 2 + 8 + 3 = 13.  I am a teenager.  I should have my architect-bar mitzvah.  Following that will be my Architect Sweet Sixteen in three years…a lot of growing up to do in the next three years for me.
